Hey Adam Leitzler,
That is the total likes _+ comments divided by their following. The total number at the top of the chart is the average over the timeframe you have selected, and the chart displays the engagement rate by day.
Does that make sense?

Sounds good to me, I think a hover over question mark in the top of each chart should solve this.
